On-Site presence without the costs of full time employment.
Many of the companies we are now pleased to support are of a size that requires a support engineer on site for a set number of days a week but do not require a full time member of staff dedicated to IT support.

New Arrival to the Ravenhill family .
Congratulations go to our systems engineer Richard and his wife Jo who gave birth to a baby girl on Monday 11th May. Baby Alice arrived a week early weighing 8LB 7 oz and both mother and baby are doing well and recovering at home. If Richard seems a little tied next time you see him you now know why!
Website Changes may be required
Recently there were some changes made to the 1985 companies act which now requires any company web site in the UK to display its registered address and registration number on both its web site and also on all emails. You can find more details on the new requirements HERE.

Try out this new Search Engine
Melzoo.com looks much the same as any other search engine, until you enter a search term and the screen splits into two. Results are listed in the usual way on the left, but an extra large preview pane on the right shows a full-size snapshot of each listing as you hover your mouse over the text snippets in the left-hand pane. It's an easy way to scan a number of sites without visiting each one to check for the information you are looking for. Its great for checking your competitors web sites!

Use your mobile to get the best prices
High street shopkeepers could be banning the use of mobile phones on their premises if upcoming phone app Compare Everywhere lives up to its promise to "change the way you shop forever". Compare Everywhere is an application that allows users to use their mobile phone to take a picture of a product's barcode and use it to comparison shop instantly for the same thing at other shops nearby and dozens of online sites. One of the problems when shopping online is that postage stamp product shots and a few lines of descriptive text often aren't enough to go on. You need a little hands-on experience too. If you're shopping for something electrical, you might want to see it working. If it's wearable, you might want to try it on. Compare Everywhere allows you to use a convenient retailer to gain access to the goods, 'borrow' the barcode, and find the best price for the same thing somewhere else.
Fancy a special night at the 02 area?
Last Month myself and Rachel were lucky enough to be invited to see Russell Brand at the O2 and watch the show from the luxury of a friends corporate suite. The suite has its own bar and refreshments were brought to us (in plenty full supply) whilst we enjoyed the show. We were also given full access to the VIP bar before the show where you can enjoy drinks and food. It was a great experience and one you should try if you favorite band is playing at the 02.

Customer referral scheme
