Your companies data is likely to be the most valuable asset of your business and protecting this should be a fundamental part of your business plan. Our solution allows you to remove the involvement of staff in the backup process and ensures you receive a full data backup 365 days a year. On top of that the service is fully monitored and managed by us, meaning that if for any reason your backup fails our engineers are made aware of this and will make arrangements with you to resolve the issue.

Security

Your data is encrypted before it leaves your servers and stored at one of our UK Data centers. This encryption uses 128 bit SSL technology and ensures your data cannot be opened by anybody without your passkey.

Our backup servers are kept in a secure location with a UK based data center to which only ATB personnel have access.

Data Centers

We have chosen two Data center partners for our solution. One located in Kent and one in Manchester. Traditional hosting centers such as London are losing their appeal, particularly when business continuity is at stake as they are exposed to an ever-increasing risk of disruption by terrorism and a vulnerable transport infrastructure. Both our data centers have been chosen for thier excellent security features and strict complience with the BSI 27001 standards.

Technology

Our bespoke software is supplied, configured and installed on your data servers and our engineers will assist you where required in the setup and configuration of your data backup sets. You can choose to backup as much or as little as you require and our software agents provide backup of the following: File Backup, Exchange Store level Backup, Exchange Brick Level Backup, System State backups and SQL Backup to name a few.

Your selected Data is then encrypted and sent over the internet at a chosen time to one of our UK data centers where it is stored and replicated to another of our UK data centers over night. Following each backup you will receive an email report with the status of your backup and a full report for your records.

Any issues with the backup are monitored and resolved by our engineers and any access required to your server is arranged, authorized and supervised by you.

Restoring data can be done either via the software client or, if a large amount of data is required in DR circumstances, we will visit the data center and load your data onto a removable drive and have this delivered to you.
